Im going to install an amp/sub in a MY01 WRX. Usually you run the RCA cable up through the centre of the car to keep it away from the power lead. Do i need to remove the centre console to run the cable back into the boot? On previous installations i have done i have always removed the console, but i cant seem how to get the one on the impreza off. Anyone have any suggestions/advice?

 

you see at the back, there is like a blanking plate for i can only assume is otherwise an ash tray. behind this are a couple or screws that you need to undo along with the ones you can see on the outside. hope this helps
