Sound Deadening and wadding etc.
Hi,
I'm installing some components this w/e and I have some dynamat questions. I'll have at least a wedge pack (or two) of extreme to hand.
1/ Speakers will be mounted on MDF baffles with the tweeters in front of the midbass, the lot bolting up to the doors. I will dynamat the door behind the baffles but is it also worth dynamatting the midbass/baffle and tweeter/baffle mountings?
2/ How much of the outside skin of the door is it worth covering?
3/ What is used to prevent standing waves behind the midbass? I was hoping to use eggcrate style sponge or similar. Anyone using Focal Plain Chant for this purpose?
Regards,
Jeremy.
