Chiark or anyone?
I have infinity 605s in the front and 505s in the rear doors with a pioneer (100w?) sub/amp thing in the boot.
I run a Sony MDLP head unit which is meant to be powerful.
Thing is my g/fs MY04 civic sounds better.
Do I need a 2 channel amp for my front dor infinity's?
Cheers

I have the 605's in my car. Run them with an Alpine 1505-R headunit and an Alpine MRV-F340 2-channel amp.
Sounds great, although they start to rattle the door cards if you pump the volume up.
What do you think's lacking with your current setup? Is it the sound quality that's or the weight. Do you have a sub?

Amp the Infinitys at the front and then get a decent sub in the boot, you will be amazed at the difference it makes. Head unit amps are crap and are not worth the box they come in. I have Infinity's 605's in my doors(my00) amped with a old Kenwood 923 amp, this is a fairly powerful amp so I have sound deadening in the doors also I have a Rockford Fosgate 2215 15" single sub in the boot on a Viper d600.1 mono amp, this is a little over the top I know but it sounds great, the boot has sound deadening as well but still rattles outside the car. Everyone has there own taste when it comes to how you like YOUR music and what music you listen to, i generally listen to rock / metal and just love a good weighty bass that you can feel
