It might be worth either ringing Ian Litchfield (dunno his number) or Powerstation in Cheltenham as they supply / work on them respectively.
I had a quick look into one when I was at PS last year and quite a few were having stereos fitted (single din alpines it seemed most of them were getting) but I can't confirm whether they were single or double din slots in the dash...

spec C comes with a single din blanking piece and a single din sized box.
Therefore you can fit whichever you want.
I fitted a single din Pioneer and the rather smart flip front storage box from the Forester.
