Stereo wiring on MY99???? Help please!!!

Hi guys,
I've nearly fitted my alpine head unit, but I need to connect 2 more wires, but I don't have a clue of any wire colours or functions....................
I need to find 1) An ignition live, and 2) A dimmer lead from the lights.
Has anyone got any idea of the colour of these wires and where I can find them, as I havent got a multimeter/tester to find out?
