Can I use a kenwood MP3 changer with my Sony head MD unit?

my Sony 10 disc changer has died...
time to get with it and sort myself out a Mp3 compatible changer..
found the Kenwood KDC C719MP (approx 199) http://www.newimagecarhifi.co.uk/pro...=279&catId=109
thing is: being a different brand to the head unit can I still use it?
my dead changer connects with bog standard RCA phonos and the CD controller thingy (DIN like..)
any thoughts guys?

12Lee can tell you the exact differences, but I'd guess the pinouts on the cables would be different as well as the protocol used to communicate between HU and changer.
