Chaps, can you help out a complete novice here?. I'm in the middle of banging in different front speakers on a bugeye and would like to check something before I continue
Firstly, can I confirm that the two red and yellow on the left are + and the other two white - ?
Secondly, Do I connect the two red and yellows to a single wire leading to the larger connector on the speaker cable and the same for the negative?
Any help is appreciated

There are two sets of cables comming out of the connector because bug eye cars also run a set of tweeters mounted high up in the door panel, now depending on if your keeping them or infact as i did put in a component system then you will have to find out which cables are the main ones.
i did this buy cutting them and extending then hold them to the speaker terminals with the head unit on if it works you know the right wires!!
i also soldered my connections because the lower door panels seem to trap moisture and this corrodes speaker terminals.
anyway hope you sort it i have just amped all my doors speakers up now that really was a pain !!!!!

You can use the original tweeters because they have a built in cross over mounted on them , i just replaced them i never thought the sound was any good but i have always had decent sounds in my car!!!!
What did you make the speaker spacer from i did mine out of 1" mdf but changed it to 3/4 because the speaker cones hit the door panel on full excursion!!!
But this does depend on what speakers your putting in the door
