I have a set of Kappa 60.5 components. In the crossover there is a jumper to set to contour or normal. Is this the -3db setting that people talk about or is this something different.

Apparently it reduces the mid-range giving more perceived bass and high end when set to Contour. Preferred setting is 'flat'.
