I have a lovely set of JL 6" components that came out of my previous car...

I now have an MY03 WRX.

Before I take the car to bits, has anyone experience of fitting these in the front doors?

1. What size spacer am I likely to need?

2. Where is the best place to mount the crossover?

Many thanks

matt

They should fit but you will probably need to make a spacer jobbie to mount the mid-bass to the door.

People of devious cunning would figure a way to mount the mid-bass, x-over and the tweeter on one 'mounting', on the face of the door.

The VR600CS is what I was planning to fit last summer but I could never get the money and attitude in place at the same time to do it.

PS: Search on CHIARK and SCOOBY on GOOGLE for Impreza ICE help.

Vindaloo.
