Infinity 6000 or 6500 in a MY03

I've just changed to a MY03 from my old MY02 and swapped the h/unit but as yet have not touched the speakers.
I have an Alpine CDA 7894 unit and previously fitted Infinity 6000cs at the front.
In the MY03, should I go for the same speakers or do the 6500cs fit? I think the depth would be OK, its the extra width I'm worried about (as the girlfriend says to me

I've just fitted 6000's in my MY03 and there was about 5mm clearance between the window and the back of the speaker when it was fitted with a 12mm MDF spacer and a layer of dynamat.
