I've mounted two Kenwood h/u's, one as a slave and it would be useful to disable the remote control sensor in the slave. Anybody know if this is a) possible b) simple to do?

a) yes
b) yes - simple. Either use a bit of tape to cover it over, or open the face panel up and cover it up internally.

Chiark,

Thanks for the reply. I'd half considered the 'cover it up' method but hoped Kenwood had a method somewhere in one of their sub menu's. It's a detachable MASK with obvious screws so I assume it'll all come apart easily...is the sensor readily apparent when I get in there?

Cheers Obi

Look for the window first before you do anything

It should be pretty easy to get to...
