HDD Head Units
#1
Went out yesterday with the intention of getting Sat Nav installed then I got distracted....
I noticed the Pioneer P900HDD or Sony MEX-1HD. Anyone got one of these? If so have you any comments and ideally pics of the install? Concerned it'll look a sod in the car as the trim collar (plastic bit) won't fit back on in the 03WRX so the dealer said. If these either of these can be made to look decent then I'll take one. Pref is the Pioneer though. Not sure if they are any more awkward to fit than any other Sony/ Pioneer head unit. Concern is they same to sit quite proud of the dash. Anyone know if they are any worse than the rest of the range? If they aren't then I suppose they look the same one in. In which case someone out there most have a standard Sony/ Pioneer head unit in the car.
Also what do people think of these units?
Sat Nav can wait a while if I can get one of these in nicely....
Ta for any help. These aren't cheap so I want to get it right.

As the UK Dension distributor I guess I'm more than a little biased, but even so, I think £800+ for a 16GB HD in a headunit that requires you to rip the CD in the car and uses MagicGate copy protection to check music in and out of the device is a little steep. Very nice head units though.
Dension DH-100 is £399 for 20GB removable HD featuring USB2.0 with drag&drop from Windows Explorer and imminent embedded Moodlogic support.
Just my $0.02.
