clarion vrx928 - which is the speed pulse?

Question

er, as above really. which wire out of the 20 or so that go into the brain unit from teh iso connector is the speed pulse one? the useful manual dosen't tell you which colour, just the pin which is nice expect mines' hidden so without taking the unit out all that bother i'm none the wiser!

If you've not got the answer by Thursday, I'll find out for you from the Electrician who's fitting mine

Just a backup - hopefully you'll have the answer by then!

cheers mate, appreciate that as the sat nav unit does need the speed pulse - otherwise it thinks the gps signal is wrong when you're on the move, but when the car stops, it corrects itself in 10 seconds to the correct position. good for accuracy, but not so when you're driving along!

i have dropped a couple of emails to clarion (wait with baited breath...hmmm) but i shall be on the phone tomorrow to see if i can find an answer!
