ditch my amp or not?
#1
Have just sold my previous pioneer nav with dvd screen etc, and avm master.
In the process have stripped out all the extra weigth and wiring that was in the car.
Everything but the phoenix gold ZX450 came out.
I will be replacing the head unit with a pioneer avh7500dvd which has built in amps and doesnt require additional boxes, but in the spirit of removing all the excess baggage fromt he car, shoudl I remove the amp and its associated wiring?
I know quality will suffer, but I gave up on that ages ago, and now just want functionality and driver enjoyment from the car.

Adam, being blunt, stop being a tit.
The amp is worth bugger all second hand, so it isn't worth selling. It's a great sound and you know enough to know you ain't getting that quality from something that's a quarter of the size but also has to play DVDs etc...
For the weight of it, just leave it in and enjoy the sound. You will regret it if you take it out IMHO
