Can anybody answer the following please.........
Can i plug an amp into my MY03' standard headset ?
Do you know if there are any 'custom fit' after market speakers available for the 03' cars ?
How do i get the headset out of the dash ?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi Ralf,
Your head unit is not a quality unit - don't plug an amp into it, as it'll only amplify a ****e signal . Replace the unit as that is the biggest difference.
The front speakers need looking at next. What sort of budget are you thinking of?
For fitting and general tips, see the faq

Thanks Nick.
Only concern about getting a different head unit is that mine is about 7" square and i didnt want to have a space under a regular sized unit.
Regarding speakers, i have changed these in other cars and am guessing that £50 - £100 should be ok to get some better quality same size replacements. Not looking to drown out the exhaust !! just want something to compliment the hum from my 8" sub box.
Cheers for the reply and any further help.

You have a double DIN size headunit at the moment. If you take it out, there is a dashboard pocket that you can fit under the single slot unit that you fit which eliminates the gap and makes it look pretty good.

For 100 quid I'd listen to Crystal components and buy 'em - although admittedly they're 150 quid by the look of it...
Where in the country are you? There's a few people coming along to Scooby Shoot out and you may listen to something you like there?
As JockyTT says, there's options to fill the gap so to speak!
Cheers,
Nick.
