What double DIN units are available to replace the standrd unit in a 2001 WRX, and are they any better?
Would love a multi changer, and possibly SAT NAV if the price is right!

Cheers,
Gary.

AFAIK Sony, Clarion and Kenwood do DD units. To be honest they aren't great units.

The cradle that the DD unit sits in, is compatable with most headunits. I know for a fact that the screws directly fit the single din clarion units.

I'd therefore go for a good quality single din unit that can run sat nav on a motorised single din screen. Also have a look at the Blaupunkt units as they have a single din with sat nav, and an in dash cd changer.

here and here

Thanks. I'm rather tempted by a Blaupunkt unit.

Gary.
