Unhappy

Anyone help here?

I've got a Kenwood 10-disc boot changer, working fine up until last night, got a few skips, then what sounded like a 'dry joint' or electrical interferance buzz/crackle. then it can't read the discs, it turns on, the selection mechanism still works and picks the right disc, but I just get an error and it trys to load the next disc...

is it el naffo or can I fix it (like bob)

cheers

Mikey

I live in Kingston and have a 10 disc Kenwood changer that I no longer use. Make me an offer and collect it and it's yours.

sounds good, new "719's" are £115 at MCS, so how about £50?

Have a look inside your changer for foreign objects, check the connecting cable between the head unit and the changer, check your disc are not dirty(finger prints ETC). Which error code is it?Kennys have certian error codes that mean different things.

E-04 = No dics has been loaded in the magazine, or disc is very dirty.

E-77 Unit malfunction. press the reset button on your head unit, this should then clear if not the unit has a problem.

E-99 Something is wrong with the disc magazine or the unit is malfunctioning for some reason, again check magazine then press the reset button.
