The Terminator wrx

Just got a sti v 5 and its got a panasonic vm70w tv in it
ive got the remote control but i cant get the thing to work. It opens but doesnt tilt up, anyone got any suggestions ???

Is it only a semi-motorized one then, where it comes out automatically, but you have to tilt it up manually!

And it's just a screen as well, so there's no CD unit or anything built in - so what else have you got to provide any image or audio?

dont know m8 only had the car 1 day it has got 2 big aerials on the back though and somthing with panasonic in the front window like a sensor
any ideas ?

Ah right - it must have a TV tuner somewhere and these are the aerials for it. The sensor I'm guessing is either a remote control eye (infrared jobby), or the radio part of it.

I've seen a few TV's with tuners and they're never worth it (as the picture is terrible).

I can't suggest anything apart from trying to get a manual from panasonic for it, unless you are getting a CD unit to go with it or a seperate one (if you've got another din slot free). Then the audio place you get that could have a look at the TV.
