Cool

HI
Wondered if anyone had the measurements for making a 12" double sub box, as I understand they need to follow a specific calculation, and be ported!

Your help and advice would be appreciated.

Cheers

Ivan

Me too!

Dont want to have to go with a standard bass boss and then have the hassle of fitting a false floor in my boot! And I definitely dont want to play with fibreglass, been there, dont that - very smelly, sticky and generally a pain in the bum.
I also dont want to shell out 150quid for a stealth box!

Any ideas, measurements etc would be greatly appreciated.

They don't need to be ported - that will give more boom, but less clarity - I'm going for a sealed enclosure. Here's a good reference.

Different speakers have different volume requirements, so you need to look it up on the manufacturers site. Once you have it, here's a handy calculator (it's cubic feet only).

Read the articles - nails are a no-no - you'll be getting busy with the glue & screws
