Right

Its about time I upgraded the speakers in my MY00

can anyone recommend a good speaker match for my Head Unit Pioneer DEH-P8100R

Im not heavily into Ice, max power style would just like something relatively decent better than the OE speakers

MY local Ice place has some Kenwood & Sony 6x9's heavily reduced at the moment (dont know the model numbers)

Cheers

Steve

not too sure really, just want something thats better than the OE ones, that will give a decent sound

Im not into spending 100's or 1000's on ICE

The Kenwood & Sony ones are 40 & 30 quid respectively, both about 30/40% off normal price

I dont really want something that means I have to go all Blue Peter on my car either

Straight replacements (or as near as) would be ideal

I am not sure if spending 30 or 40 pounds on a kenwood or sony is going to make much of a difference to your OE speakers. To make a worthwhile upgrade, I think you will need to spend about £100 on a set of components, or if that is too much hassle, disconnect the tweeters and get a decent coaxial front speaker, such as an Alpine SPS 170A(has a swivel tweeter) which you should be able to get for about £70.

Exclamation

Cheap Pioneer 3-way speakers (rears)

Fantastic component speakers (front)

If you are interested, drop me a mail and I'm sure we can sort something out!
