what is needed to replace the standard junk radio for my sony MD?
is it just another halfrauds ISO connector?
also, what about rear door speakers in a MY99, too hard work or peice of pi55?
never been keen on rear shelf speakers as the scumbags get a good view IMHO.

coolio.
had the stock unit out, iso clips now worries, but there is a wire with a black plastic push fit housing connected to the middle of the back of the standard radio/cass. thought it was a ground, but the brown lead on the loom seems to be ground. what gives?
finally, whats the button I just noticed on the top of the steering wheel on MY99 uk?

Andy,
I'm trying to remember what connectors are in my MY99, but IIRC you only need the ISO connector and the aerial connection.
Do you have the std Philips headunit in your car just now?
Is it this little black connector (far left) that you're talking about?
I'm pretty sure that was ground for the headunit chassis (could be wrong though). In any case you don't need it.

Didn't connect this cable(black one with female spade connector) when i installed my kenwood headunit(MY00) , it is for certain a chassis ground point. An earth is located on the ISO connector.
