I've just bought a 94 Jap imported Impreza and it has the Pioneer Carrozzeria FH-P555MD stereo in it.

I've managed to figure out most of the functions on it, by trial and error and with a little bit of help from Pioneer's Japanese website. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to change the time on the clock!

I think I must have tried every combination of using the clock button with another button and holding it down for minutes at a time. But no joy.

Is there anyone out there with any ideas on how to change the time on it? It's bugging the hell out of me!

Very possibly too late (did I read Posted in 2003?). Any way I have bought a 2004 STi with the same brand stereo. Setting the clock is a mission and since everthing is in partial Japanese etc, I have no idea the full capabilites of this stereo.

However I did today find a manual (in Japanese) but should be somewhat useful...
Should anyone have an english version Please advise.

Hi,

I have purchased a car that has a Pioneer FH-P555MD unit, but no manual. I need to adjust the clock, and to figure out why this morning I cannot change the volume, eject the CD, or do anything with the unit. It was working fine yesterday, but as of this morning, no ability to do anything with the unit. it's like it has a child safety enabled.
