Seem to be having a problem playing cdrs after they have been on for 30mins approx. Starts to skip, go out of sync. Put a new one in and it is ok untill it warms up and it then does the same! Anybody else had a problem or am i just unlucky? Original cds seem to play ok but they do get very hot.

What speed did you rip the cd at?, some cd players can be a little awkward with anything rippped at over 8x. I have a kenwood mp3 changer , anything over 8 times and it goes bananas!!!!

Kenwood KDC 716MP on kenwood KDC 8080r head unit, had the h/u a few years now had a standard changer on it, replaced with MP3 compatable changer. Trouble is the changer does not support ID tags or CD text which is a shame, bought the changer from car audio direct thay offer an excellent service.
I made the mistake of burning my MP3 cd's at 40x , this did not work and sent the player into fits of silly noises, slowed the burn speed down and through trial and error found that 8x speed produced a good result with no pop or sqeeks to be heard.
