Chiark

I have finally got round to taking the rear door cards off again to take some pictures and make notes for the FAQ. How are the updates done do you want me to send the pics and notes or make the html stuff as well.

cheers

Peter

p.s I have stopped the rear speakers hitting the plastic ring in the door card and distorting oh what a difference that has made, nice to have the whole system up and running.

Peter

I have been following your posts about your upgrades and am interested in what you finally dropped in to the rear doors. Did you go for two way in the back and which ones did you choose?

I frequent Cambridge Car Audio as well, so did you buy your stuff from there?

cheers

Steve

I went for Pioneer tse 1375 5" 2 ways. not bad for the £45 they cost. there is lots of depth to play with in the rear, you just have to watch out for the basket catching where the original 4" speaker fitted. I managed to get the pioneers straight in without a collar (just had to modify the basket a little).

the whole system does sound far better than the original just a bit to bright for my liking but for the money I spent, cant complain really.

Cambridge car audio are a good bunch of people a bit pricey and the carry some old stock but the people know their stuff and were extremely helpful even if I didnt buy most of the bits from them. They also gave me some good advice and im a little more comfortable doing some work myself.

Chiark I took lots of pictures as I did the work in my garage, as it was raining outside so lighting is not the best. I will go through the pictures this weekend and pick the best ones.
