Question

Just replaced the head unit in my scoob with a single DIN Alpine MP3 head unit. Now thinking about getting a SAT NAV system for the other DIN, don't want to spend a fortune, what would you recommend?

TIA

shame you missed my alpine sat nav for sale earlier - single din unit, the cd rom based version. You'd do well to stick with alpine, and you can buy the rue-4191 remote to operate the lot.

actually, having said that, there's no benefit to putting sat nav in the dash other than to atract theives - they're all operated from remote control so hide it away in teh boot and buy a fold out slave tv head unit for it! (alpine website shows this configuration)

can recommend the pioneer single din sat nav.

its bascially rebadged becker and works beautifully.

Not so quick as the dvd risc processor based units, but still works well. one cd for europe too and capable of listening to music whilst navigating.

think there is one for sale on ebay right now. Only one model in range thats single din, cant remember the number but should be easy enough to find.
