Question

I think I've blown one of my Infinity 605 speakers (not the tweeter).

It could be something in the door vibrating, but I suspect it's the speaker whats had it. It makes a crackling sound on low stuff, doesn't really matter what the volume is like. It's irritating because it started about 1 week before I added an amp and sub! and is gradually getting worse

Anyone got experience of getting a single replacement? CEL in Leicester reckon it'd be more or less the same price to get a complete new kit - anyone got any ideas ? or got the same problem and want to share ?

Cheers

Chris

Thumbs up

Warbs,

I'm just upgrading to Focals 'cos I think one of my Infinity 605s has a slight crackle on it!?

They are due to be removed tomorrow, if you are interested I can let you have the pair 'on approval' to see if that solves the problem. They haven't been thrashed so hopefully one of them will be OK.

If you can use one of them then we can sort out something pricewise.
