My STi5 RA has no front door speakers fitted as standard, I've got hold of a new rear shelf so I can cut holes for some flush fit rears, but I'm after some quality front speakers that will fit in the front doors without having to perform any door cuts or modifications to fit them.
Anyone got some model numbers of speakers that will fit?
Cheers

I have infinity 605's in MY00 classic shape, they fit straight into the standard holes and come with a supplied packer. You have to fit the tweeters either in the grill next to the door pull or, as i have on the small triangle piece near the window, this can be a little awkward but well worth the trouble. Also you have to find a place for the cross-overs, mine are to the right hand side of the main speakers between the moisture barrier and the door card, they JUST fit in this space, use some strong double sided tape to secure them to the moisture barrier.

Halfords are doing a set of Ininfity 652i's for £47.99 (Bridgwater store). These are a direct fit into the rear shelf using there spacers but a small felt hoop was needed under the Infinity grills to hide the holes left when the Subaru ones were taken out (that do not fit whne the speakers are fitted).
I guess that these would be a direct fit in the front as well.
