I have installed this unit with an MP3/CD Player (6 CD Player)
All the wires are in as instructed. I have a small problem - when I turn off the engine or take the front off it loses the settings that were in it. I have programmed the memory of the radio which it keeps.
However, I turn it on and it doesn't start where i left off. It starts by "saying" Alpine.....then Tuner and all I have is a blank station.
If I then press a preset radio number it comes on with the correct preset station ie it remembers it. I then have to reset all the bass, treble settings and turn on the MX feature.
Surely all these settings and the last thing I was listening to should start where I left off??!!
Anyone have any ideas - maybe a little setting I havent found - I have read the book cover to cover...

You need to change a couple of connections on your ISO connector.
The ISO connector has a permanent live and switched live connection. Both of these will likely have bullet connectors on them, and the ability to swap things over.
Swap 'em over until it works . There is both a permanent and switched live in the loom.
Cheers,
Nick.

I think you should run a separate wire from the yellow wire in the loom direct to the battery. The CDA-7893R which my wife has uses the same manual/loom and needs a decent current/amp feed which you may not have in the Scooby feed?
As its 4 x 60w that what the book says!
Andy.
