Question

Need to find myself some smaller front speakers for the Cup as my Infinity 652.1 won't fit

Anyone have a recommendation for something that will do the job?

Will be running off my Alpine CDA7293 HU at the moment until I decide if I want to fill the car up with ICE (which kind of defeats the purpose of buying a Cup )
I've been told that the current range of Infinity speakers aren't up to much in comparison with the older models Local shop recommended Cerwin Vega front end, but he only has a limited range. As I'm likely to be running them off the HU for the moment, I'm only looking to spend around £120 if that helps any recommendations.

Oh - and as the Infinity speakers no longer fit, I'll be flogging these if anyone is interested - perfect condition. Model: Infinity Kappa 652.1i Pics available if anyone wants them

Cheers

Someone else mentioned a company called Audiobahn which have speakers that might do the job.

Anyone heard of these peeps or their products?

I went for the focal access 165a's havent fitted them yet but had a demo and they sounded fantastic. These are 6.5's but they probably do a smaller model.

The top end pioneer stuff is ok too and well within your budget The tse (emotion) range sounded much better then the infinity kappa and reference for less cash.

You'll get 'em to fit, I'm sure. Where in the country are you?

Aaah, David - not heard from him in a while!

I really do think that you should be able to get 'em to fit with a little constructive jigsaw work and a bit of MDF. It's worth the hassle.

Infinity perfect 5.1 are nice speakers.
Cerwin are better known for their subs.
Focal are a good quality speaker.
Kenwood dualmags surprised me as to how good they were and well priced to. worth a listen.

Be wary of any salesman who slags off a product he doesnt sell. Hes not interested in what your really after he only wants to sell you what he has.
