P1.... Looking to replace the standard system... Help

I have a Mk2 8v Golf that has all my currnt ICE in... This car has been modified and played with and I decided to just buy a new car....

I have the 7998 Alpine head and MP3 changer that I wish to get installed in the P1.... I also have Focal fronts... The rest of the system I can not use in the P1 as its 6x9 and old subs that need replacing...

Can someone please give me some advice on what produces a good sound.. I really do not want to get a sub in the boot.... Oh and I have a new digital MRV=F540 to run the speckers....

All help greatly appriceated
