my 95 wrx import still has its original double din head unit fitted. the radio on it only goes from 74 to 90 so i can only get radio 2 on it! is it possible to get it tweeked so that it can pick up uk radio stations? or is it easier/cheaper just to get a new head unit?

you need an expander... Very simple and cheap. try "maplins" etc. most ICE shops should stock them.

Usually plugs between the aerial and the head unit. I've grown fond of Radio 2 now

Sorry guys i can't handle radio 2 at all so just wondering if it's a straight swap for any head unit? or do i need any additional cables to convert?

i found a website that sells them called eunosverse.com they are 15 quid plus p+p. they just plug between the arial and the head unit. the radio will still read 84 but will actually be on 100 apparantly. should get mine later today or tommorow. if it works ok i'll let you know.

I was able to connect my expander in the boot as the electric arial had a connection joint, which was ideal. Plus, my expander had a red wire which was for the live feed, otherwise it wouldn't work.. Best of luck..

got it this morning. took about 10 mins to fit. radio works fine now, sorted!
