There seem to be several people selling a fair few bits of ice on here lately, with varrying degrees of sucess. (somehwere between nothing and sod all 
)
Because the way forums work, these posts keep gettng bttt s and end up rather long, plus someone actually looking for a hu, amp etc may miss it. Well, not from posted by Luke, anyway
How about we have a fixed thread where people can put their ICE for sale on - just ONE post with pics, price, description, contact details, and then just delete it/edit it when it gets sold? (editing of posts allowed)
That way we'd have an up-to-date little market place where we don't get numeroue selling threads, bttt s and lost threads, and somewhere that is imediately accessible to anyone looking for ice?

The main point i thought this would address would be the bttt; how many times do the threads disappear because of responses of others - especially in the for sale section. Plus the people more likely to buy this stuff on scoobynet will post/check the ice forum anyway - often for advice - and then they could see whats up for grabs on one single post rather than having to trawl through the forum(s).
On this part alone you can buy RF, PG amps (x2) Alpine, denon, have i missed anything in this list?

Si, not a bad idea. THe reason for the current state of affairs is that the FOr sale forum is very high throughput, and around 2 years ago the group concensus was that we should allow ICE ads in here. I still think we should.
The single thread isn't a bad idea at all, but I'm not sure how well it would work. If there's enough groundswell of support, let's do that... I may even arrange the "sticky" thread in ICE to explain it

I'm sure the guys who are selling stuff will agree, I think the only problem would be ensuring things that are on there are actually for sale at the present. That would be down to individuals to ensure they remove items once they've been sold.
