Hi all
Have now purchased my new head unit for my MY02 WRX - Alpine CDR7894RB.
As it draws max 20A current, I need to use a new power supply. Also have a new earth lead from the head unit to worry about.
What have you done for similar installs and do you have any pics.
Help most gratefully received before i embark on the job !!!

spoke to mechanic at Scooby dealers. He said the existing power supply should be OK.
I know have a nice new unit in the Scoob. Speakers aren't too bad, but I expect I will save a few more pennys!!! Job went quite well, thanks to the research on here - thanks to Chiark.
Only lost one screw (Doh) and the new DIN pocket looks naff, so I shall wait for the official Subaru part.
Off to sort out some MP3s

Just one thing - the new unit does get quite warm. Is this normal?
