I have recently swapped my Kenwood cd changer (10 disc type)for a new kdc 719mp 10 disc changer that plays MP3 as well as CD, but to my dissapointment i have found that i cannot display folder name/track names or artists with this unit. This is very annoying as there can be around 100 tracks on one CD and i cannot memorize all the track/albums in the scoob. Does anybody know if it is possible to display name, track ETC. I used CD text before installing the new changer but it is unsupported by the new unit.
My head unit is a Kenwood KDC 8080R
Many thanks for any help.

I have the same unit, and I'm a bit disapointed about the lack of folder and track name display for MP3s as well.
AFAIK, it does normal CD test though, if your head unit supports it as well.
If you find a way to do it, please let me know... Sorry it's not better news.

Will have to try the CD text, head unit fully supports it so should not be a problem(maybe something set wrong will have to see)
