Will the Philips CD Changer from late classic shape Imprezas work with a Panasonic headunit stnadard in a MY95 (and/or Sony MDX-CA580 headunit)?
If so, what interfacing wires etc would be required?
Cheers,
Ben

Very unlikely, i was once told by my car audio dealer that panasonic H/U's use there own type of software to allow them to control there own cd changers (i found this out when i wanted to change my defunked 12 disc changer for a new changer but the head unit did not used the old type of software so had to replace the lot). Unless there is a way around this i would be very sceptical. I bet the same applies to the sony unit as well. Another answer is use a type of cd changer that use a radio freqency and transmits the music to your head unit through the radio, can be expensive though and i don't know about the sound quality.
