thanx 4 all your help with the head units. PUT i need more bass, the standard speaker in the bak r pants so i want sum big 6+9`s put do they fit? im crap at diy 2 car`s so does any1 no a gud place 2 go???i live near lincon, put go 2 doncaster all the tim. so sumwhere around there wud b gud. cheers again. michael

Idle Car Audio in Bradford come well recommended. Never used 'em, but a person who I trust has done, and recommends 'em. Khalid used to be the guy to speak to, apparently.
For more bass, you really need to think about a sub of sorts, either an active tube type thing (I think ihavetohave.it are flogging some off?) or an amp, sub and box.
6x9s are best off underneath your shelf, apparently, and will give you an improved response but limited amouts of bass.
