Anyone out there know of any Double DIN Sat nav systems. My mate has one in his golf and IMHO i think they are better that the flip screen ones, especially as I have a D Din hole.

Also I would love it to play MP3, or is this asking too much ??

Cheers,

Olly.

Sorry mate, dunno. I know Alberick has completed a double din conversion and has a unit that does what you want, but I think he got that from the far east...

Hmmm, don't know too much about Nav systems.....The screen of the unit I installed recently is for "decoration" purposes only and cannot be used for TV or Navigation. although there are connectors with it to install a nav/tv and lots of other things...

I could check the major companies (Kenwood, Panasonic, Addzest, carrozeria) etc but these nav units are Japan only and I don't think they will work here in Europe....Also afaik Navi units always come either with the DVD/HDD unit and a separate screen or in a single DIN flip screen.
