Question

Believe this is the philips one - 6 slot. Very bad at reading cd-r's - very hitty missy - sometime fine, other times says 'cd error' yet the cd's play fine in everything else.

Is it a dirty laser ? Or a problem with the changer ? Plays originals perfect every time...

Some cd players don't like the slightly thinner CD-R's that you can get - Kenwood single slot one I used to have wouldn't play them. Try a different brand cd-r, or try the same in another in-car cd player.

Cheers fer that Ian - I too use nero and reasonable quality cd-r's (backup purposes only)

I'll run a cd cleaner thru it and see if it improves....
