Question

Picked up my "new" P1 today and it has one of these VDO units installed in it. There's no instruction booklet with so I've no idea what's going on with it - the speed/volume thingy doesn't appear to be set up nor does the "auto-equalizer".

Anybody know anything about this particular unit or how the thing works? I can't find the balance, bass, treble etc etc controls on it

Disregard - have now found the online manual

Is it highly rated at all, this unit? Seems okay but haven't used it much....

Can only say I had a VDO unit before and was one of the best I ever had. Great quality of sound.
