Question

I purchased some Kenwood dual mags for my rear door this week. To fit required some MDF spacers but I have a question on fitting dynmatt. After removing the door panel the door is cover with a plastic film. Should the dynmatt which I plan to fit around the speaker be fitted on top of the film on under. If it should be fitted on top should I then attach the spacer and then dynmatt before the speaker or put the spacer on on top of the dynmatt. Sorry to be a pain but as you know once this stuff is stuck it's stuck like hell.

You need to stick the dynamat on to the metal of the door under the plastic sheet. The main point of it is to stop the metal resonating so it needs to be well pressed down or rolled to get good contact with the metal. Then put the spacer over the top of this and screw everything down trapping the plastic sheet back in place.
