I'm planning to install a new amp in my MY99 over the weekend, but I'm struggling for some inspiration as to where to fit the thing.

I've already got a 12-disc changer attached to the back seat and will be fitting one of the Dension MP3 players too (although that's not very large).

I'd like to keep most of the boot space and protect the equipment from getting damaged.

Please post any pics of how arranged your boot installs.

Thanks,
Stefan

C'mon lads, at least some of you must have some pics.

I'm just after some ideas on how you've managed to mount all your stuff in the boot.

Cheers,

Stefan

Stefan, you've seen mine already, haven't you? That's the only one I have.

If anyone needs a picture hosting... Drop me a mail.

Yeah, I have Nick thanks. I'm thinking along the same lines, although with no subs, a simple box design for the amp, changer and MP3 player will do the job.

How did you manage to attach the box securely to the inside of the boot?

Stefan

P.S. Can be like pulling teeth on here sometimes

the people who did mine managed to fit the amp under the driver's seat - i must admit they did a pretty tidy job, the amp fits nicely into the recess, it's pretty much invisible, and you still get the full up/down range of movement of the seat. leaving room for a nice little sub in the boot. I'll try and post some pics.

It was a hot sunny day.
