Question

i have a pair of Alpine scs1356 5 1/4 inch componants in my garage will they fit straight into my front doors on a my97(facelift) 4 door. or will they need some sort of spacers?
they are rated at full range 120w peak - 40w rms
mid range 150w peak - 50w rms

will they be better than std speakers

regards mike

Mike

The standard speakers are (I'm pretty sure) 6.5" speakers. So, you'd need to make up new containers for them. I've just put a set of DDDrive 6.5" speakers into my Legacy, using small MDF panels/spacers for them. So, you shouldn't have a problem with 5.25"'s
