ICE Setup

I have a Pioneer DEH-P6300R headunit, Infinity 605cs speakers in the front, 2 way Pioneer speakers in the rear, a Pioneer 12" sub and 2 Sony 2 channel amps (one for the Infinitys and one for the sub).
However, Im disappointed with the sound quality from the system (especially from the Infinity's).
I don't know that much about ICE but I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice/tips on how to get the best out of this setup. Maybe I'm using the wrong components, or my settings on the h/u or amps is incorrect??
