Is there an easier way to remove the std rear speakers? ie. without having to take the rear seats out, can you get in from underneath somehow?

I've removed the rear speakers from a MY97 and a P1 and both needed the rear seat out, you may get away with stripping the side window plastic bits off to get the rear shelf out but only if you seriously bend the rear shelf.
