So I'm not the best MDF worker in the world but I'm good at hacking and sawing bits to pieces so I did. I took pics along the way as well so if any of you want a guide I'll put one together.

Basically I had some new 16cm pioneer speakers and no way of mounting it to the door other than buy the Corsa door mount and bodge it or use some MDF. I'm crap with MDF so out came the jigsaw and I was let lose on the OEM speakers with the moulded door mount, I cut out the old speaker from the old mounting and screwed my new speaker in. Perfect fit! and it looks like it came with the car!

Simplicity at it's best.

I've just bought my first Impreza - love it! Should have done it years ago. It's an 02 WRX UK spec - and I'm having serious problems getting decent speakers to fit in the front due to mounting depths, collar unavailability etc. I'd appreciate any advice anyone can give - also I'm looking at some Phoenix Gold 16cm components - does anyone know if these will fit? Please help a newby in distress!
