New to this, so apologies if these questions have been asked before!! At the moment have the standard Subaru/Philips HU installed.
From a previous car I have:
Kenwood KDC5090 HU/6 disc changer
JBL 6x9s
Rainbow 6.5" with seperate crossovers
The questions I have are:
1. Where do you reckon the best place to put the changer is?
2. Will the Rainbows fit in the front doors with the tweeters
3. What do I need to do to get the 6x9s to fit in the rear shelf?!
Hope you guys can help!!

Put your changer wherever you like pretty much. 6.5" speakers will fit in the doors on a '98 easily, but you'll more than likely need a spacer - what's the depth? I made spacers out of 18mm MDF for some Infinity Kappa 65.3s. 6x9s in the rear shelf, over to someone else ...

I found a site that lists some 6x9's that fit into the rear shelf on an MY98, 99 etc without having to do any dodgy hacksaw work!

Pretty informative! Look at the links to the other pages too, I think there are some pictures of Alpine 6x9's slottnig into the rear speaker ports. I'm off to get myself some right now!
