I have just bought a MY99 with the Subaru/Philips Multichange problem is it aint working..... when I open it to take the cd cartridge out nothing happens when I press the buton on the headunit it says no src i think

any Ideas?

Sounds like mine, kept on going beep at me. The previous owner said I'd have fun with it, it never worked right for him either.
Last night I got pissed off with it and took it out to have a fiddle.
First thing you should try is poke a pen in the reset hole next to the eject button. If that doesn't do anything it's got no power to it, or it's f**cked. If it does do something and attempts to load up then goes beep at you then it's a loading problem. Get back to me, I seem to have fixed mine.

time to find the next problem.
