Unhappy

I have 605cs fitted, and the driver's side main driver has stopped working, at leat 98% of the time. When it does work, it's fine so I don't think the unit is damaged. The tweeter seems to be fine all the time. I've checked for loose connections in the door (to the speaker, the crossover etc) and it all seems fine - any ideas what else might be causing this really annoying intermittent fault?

Could be the thin wire that runs from the back of the connector on the main speaker through to the speaker coil. if thats going then its proberbly bye bye speaker. or it could be a problem an intermittent problem in the coil, same outcome.

It could be the speaker wire going down to ground (touching metal).
Try swapping it with the speaker from the other door.
