Default Kenwood KCA iP500

HI
I have fitted one of these to my impreza I'm just windering has anyone tried them on any newer ipod touchs.
Can you use the screen on the touch one's to pick tracks

Below is the list from Kenwood site . I have tried mine with classic and it works fine but all has to be controlled from the radio

• iPod (The 3rd generation model)
• iPod (The 4th generation model)
• iPod (The 5th generation model)
• iPod mini
• iPod photo
• iPod nano(The 1st generation model)
• iPod nano(The 2nd generation model)
• iPod nano(The 3rd generation model)

• iPod classic
• iPod touch(The 1st generation model)
• iPod touch(The 2nd generation model)

I am looking at an ipod touch .ive searched the web put it looks like it might only work with ipod 2nd gen but wont charge it. Just though someone here might have tried newer versions on it

just said I'd give an update to this for anyone who might be looking in to doing this. I tried my wifes iphone4 and it worked perfect with this. You can choose the songs from the iphone. With the ipod classic it just locked the ipod and you had to play playlists or album by album song by song so I've just bought an ipod touch on ebay there now . So stock radio but can play anything on it
