Default Cobra Sport Trackday Friendly Exhaust System

Hi Guys and Gals,

We are just starting another group buy for the Trackday Friendly System.

Here is the Exhaust in action at TOTB 2011 -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9Cg01HESUA

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DiH5S...layer_embedded

From the guys who make exhausts for Subaru UK themselves, Cobra Sport Exhausts.

Cobra Sport exhausts have created this system that allows you to drive round a track without sweating as you go past the sound guy with his measuring stick ! This "Trackday Friendly System" is full 3" bore without restrictions and delivers maximum power gains with out the loud sound that makes your ears bleed !

All of our performance exhaust systems are constructed from grade 304 stainless steel and TIG welded throughout, with all pipework being mandrel bent for smoother gas flow. In addition, unrestricted silencers and enlarged pipework allow for a faster engine response and an increase in torque and BHP.

This group buy is for all models form 1994 - 2007.
(Please inform us of the year when putting your name down.)

Cat back system in 3" bore with resonated centre section for £325 Inc Postage.

(Normal RRP £365 + Postage)

We need at least 5 people to commit to get this deal under way.

The exhaust can be seen and heard on our website www.cobrasport.com

Any questions please PM or email me.

Many Thanks

Pete

Hi,

We are not sure about the dB of just the rear box as we have only tested the centre and rear which will come under the 95 dB level...

Please phone us on 0114 2447123 to discuss the best options for you.

Thanks

Pete

Is it possible to have this backbox refilled? Mine is starting to make more noise every week. At the moment it's not as loud as the cobra japstyle, but also not as quiet as it was in the first few months.

Hi,

The rear box should not need packing ?? but the exhaust getting louder dosent sound right either ?

Is there any chance you can bring the car to us so we can check this out for you at our factory?

Thanks

Hi Pete,

It wont be easy to get the car to your factory as I live in the Netherlands.

I have purchased a used backbox over here. When I first got it under my car the sound was great (especially when going from a regular cobra backbox to the trackday friendly) on the long drives I was able to hear everything just fine with the radio at sound level 5-7.
Now, about 4 months later, the radio should be on 8+ to hear the same details on some songs.

There is no resonater in the centerpipe. Just a catted downpipe, open midpipe and trackday backbox.
I don't know how old the backbox was when I got it.

Hi,

I would check that the rear box has still got the exhaust packing in it, when you tap it it should make a 'Thud' rather than a hollow empty sound ?

PM me for advice from there.

Thanks

Pete
